Ecology Taylor, Kim [1], O'Kennon, Robert [1]. The Vascular Flora of Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, Llano and Gillespie Counties, Texas, U.S.A. A vascular plant survey of Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, Gillespie and Llano counties, Texas, was conducted from 1984 through 1994 and 2014 through 2015. The property sites near the southern edge of the Llano Uplift, a primarily granite region. A total of 450 additional taxa were documented during the study, bringing the total for the park to 948 taxa. Twenty-eight taxa are considered rare at the state or global level, including 2 state-tracked taxa. Non-native taxa comprise 12.4% of the total flora with 118 taxa, 88 of which are new additions.
